John is currently working as CTO for Key Accounts at Huawei Technologies, with 29 years experience in global voice and data. His experience covers operations, maintenance, solutions development and consulting in several industry specific areas, while also having worked with several leading industry vendors, in the area of fixed and mobile service providers; large enterprise customers; and as a speaker at regular industry conferences. John is also a currently an active board member of Intellect, a leading trade association which serves to represent key technology industries within the UK.

John's focus over the past 14 years has been on identifying emerging technology trends, and qualifying new technology market directions, while influencing and leading the relevant R&D, technical and commercial teams to develop cost effective yet innovative market solutions.

John is continually working towards enhancing his understanding in both an academic and professional perspective, having focused his academic development in on the areas of strategic management, marketing, environmental management and communications technologies, where he holds several degrees and has been accredited as a Chartered Marketer.
