Charles H. Patti, PhD - James M. Cox Professor of Customer Experience Management, Daniels College of Business/University of Denver

Charles (Chuck) Patti, Ph.D., is the James M. Cox Endowed Professor of Customer Experience Management and Director of the IMC and Customer Experience Management programs in the Daniels College of Business at Denver University. In this capacity he develops and teaches and array of IMC and CEM courses.

He has extensive teaching experience in wide range of settings, including doctoral seminars, MBA and other specialized graduate courses, undergraduate programs, and executive training. Dr. Patti’s has special expertise in case method learning and he was an early adopter of online teaching and learning technologies.

He also has extensive experience in higher education, including Head of the School of Marketing, Director of Executive MBA, and Associate Dean. Before rejoining DU in 2006, Dr. Patti spent nine years at Queensland University of Technology (Australia), Bocconi Graduate School of Business (Milan), the University of Hartford, and Arizona State University. Before joining academe, Dr. Patti worked in marketing communication on both the client and agency sides. Among his consulting clients are Texas Instruments, Siemens, Sunsuper, McDonald’s, British American Tobacco and Philip Morris. Professor Patti was named the Marketing Educator of the Year 2007 by the Marketing Educators’ Association and was appointed Senior Fellow, The Cable Center, in 2008. 

In 2009, he was awarded Professor Emeritus status by Queensland University of Technology.
