Constance Porter, Ph.D. - Assistant Professor of Marketing, Mendoza College of Business, University of Notre Dame
Constance Porter is Assistant Professor of Marketing at Mendoza College of Business, University of Notre Dame. She earned a B.S.E. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, an M.B.A. from University of Michigan and a Ph.D. from Georgia State University. Professor Porter researches trust formation and relationship marketing, with a focus on interactive-marketing environments. Her recent work was published in Management Science and funded by the eBusiness Research Center of Penn State University as well as the Kellogg Center for Research in Technology & Innovation at Northwestern University and the Funk Scholars program. Professor Porter teaches courses in Customer Relationship Management and Marketing & Technology to MBA students and undergraduate students, respectively. Prior to pursuing a career in the academy, Professor Porter spent several years as an internal and external consultant with firms including Gemini Consulting (now Cap Gemini Ernst & Young), Cambridge Management Consulting (now Cambridge Technology Partners, a Novell Company), Xerox, Georgia Pacific and as a commercial banker with National Westminster Bank USA.
